The Accelerate Your Dreams Scholarship is a youth opportunity program that gives teens access to tutoring, life skills training, and hands-on learning experiences that lead to real career pathways.

This program exists because too many capable young people are stuck — not because they lack intelligence, but because they lack structure, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities.

We don’t keep kids busy. We help them build something real.

What Scholarship Participants Receive Each Week

This scholarship combines multiple layers of support that work together to create real change — academically, behaviorally, and practically.

📘 Academic Tutoring & School Support Lab

Required based on academic need:

  • Students below a C average: 2 hours per week
  • Students maintaining C’s or higher: 30-minute weekly accountability check-in

Tutoring focuses on:

  • Closing learning gaps
  • Strengthening core academic skills
  • Improving focus and follow-through
  • Preventing academic backslide before grades drop

🧠 Anger Management & Communication Skills

Required for all scholarship participants:

1–2 hours per week focused on:

  • Anger management and impulse control
  • Communication skills for school, work, and family
  • Conflict resolution
  • Accountability and decision-making
  • Managing frustration without shutdowns or outbursts

These sessions are skills-based and practical — teens learn how to respond under pressure, a skill that directly affects grades, relationships, and long-term success.

🔧 Hands-On Skill & Career Enrichment

The Game-Changer

  • Mechanical and technical skill-building
  • Tool use and shop safety
  • Team-based problem solving
  • Project completion and troubleshooting

Instead of spending hours on video games, teens are:

  • Building
  • Creating
  • Troubleshooting
  • Completing real projects they can see and touch

For many students, this is the first time learning feels relevant.

Scholarship Expectations

Scholarships are awarded with clear expectations to protect students, families, and donor trust.

  • Maintain a C average or participate in tutoring until improvement
  • Attend tutoring, skills training, and hands-on sessions
  • Follow safety rules and program expectations
  • Participate respectfully with peers and mentors
  • Complete orientation with a parent or guardian

Scholarship support depends on effort, participation, and accountability.

Scholarship assistance is awarded based on financial need, readiness, and available funding.
