We are a no-kill rescue, which means that all of our cats will stay here until they find a home. BLACK CATS have an especially hard time finding homes. Most of the kittens we took in this spring will stay here for years, possibly their entire lives. They do not deserve to die, just because of the color of their coats. In addition to treating the usual minor medical conditions such as demodex mange, vaccinating, and altering, we also arrange for more expensive procedures such as long term care for heartworm treatments, emergency tooth extractions, and emergency eye removal, to name a few. Our veterinarians are generous and loving professionals, who support our efforts. In order to pay veterinary bills, mortgage for the rescue, food, treats, and all other costs associated with running an animal rescue (we care for approx. 50 cats/dogs at a time), we must ask for an "adoption fee" or "adoption donation." Thank you all for understanding our application process.
